Minecraft - (EATS) How To Build A Road
This shows how to build a 16x16 road section from scratch for my EATS system. It's fairly easy to build a flat road because you are just repeating a simple pattern over and over.
The glass dome is mainly just for looks, but it also keeps the critters out and holds the easy exits.
Officially, a road section is 16x16 even though the pattern is 8x4. Keeping your roads 16x16 makes it easier to connect different pieces together, such as intersections, in your roadways because all EATS parts will be 16x16.
The 16x16 section I build here requires:
128 cobblestone, 136 glass, 32 half steps, 16 signs, 16 ladders, 8 torches, 4 boats
